Part of Letters from the Maharaj to the Emperor: familial histories and a shared future

March 15, 20241 min read

I can tell you that there were not two men that were more admirable in personal life having known both of them.

Both were honest to a fault. Honest to a fault. In fact, because these were Gandhian men, and they didn’t know what to do with the truth it would just come falling out of the mouth and loudly so and then it didn’t matter if they were commenting on one of their children’s financial struggles or what someone said to them about a third person

There were no filters, and there was absolutely no cunning none whatsoever and proudly, so

These were both vegetarian people, and absolutely non-violent

these were people that would walk into the house of a slumlord over hundreds of quiet families, and stop them from assaulting their wives

These were men that the slumlord would yield to.

I could go on and on, but I better get going

vote for freedom!
